Introduce yourself in a few words for those who don’t know you.
I’m Fred from Brussels, Belgium and I’m 44. I’ve been playing video games for over the last 30 years now and VPing for about 4.
What is your first memory related to the horror genre (literature, cinema or video games) ?
Back in 1986 I was around 9, my eldest sister took me to the cinema and said to our mom we’d watch The Great Mouse Detective, she had another plan….She took me to watch Aliens because she had a crush on Michael Biehn.
What is your favorite horror video game ?
Alone in the Dark
Is this the game that scared you the most ?
Absolutely not, the scariest I’ve played was Resident Evil 2.
Who is the scariest video game character in your opinion ?
Nemesis from Resident Evil 3
The last game that marked you (not necessarily related to horror) ?
I’ve played and finished Assassin’s Creed Origins this year this is such a masterpiece.
Which scene in a video game scared you or disgusted you the most ?
There’s that scene in Red Dead Redemption 2 with that guy you have to bring to the doctor in Saint Denis, he is injured in the arm. Once there the doctor has no other choice to cut his arm off…
What are you really afraid of ?
It’s kind of a new thing for me but spiders are something I became scared of. This and clowns, I fracking hate clowns !!
What are the 3 VPs that you recommend to others and why ?
3 is definitely not enough, but I would say @shinobi_space, @BelovedOfBayek and @RedDeath251. Not only they are nice people but they are all very talented and inspiring each with their own style.
Do you prefer a candlelit meal with Hannibal Lecter or play hide and seek with Michael Myers ?
Honestly, I would choose Hannibal Lecter, he is cultured, he has good taste and with him at least we can chat while drinking a Chianti, not like that other guy who stinks of rancid.
